Vegan Brown Butter S'mores Cookies

I love s'mores! I think they should be more than a fireside dessert; they're a year round any time any place treat in my opinion. So simple but so delicious. I also can't think of anyone who doesn't love a good cookie! I've been seeing brown butter chocolate chip cookies everywhere lately and decided to fuse these two desserts together for the perfect treat.

These Vegan Brown Butter S'mores Cookies are butter and delicious. They have soft and chewy interior with a nice crisp edge. Definitely plant based indulgence.



Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 Cup Plant Butter

  • 2 Cups + 1 TBSP All Purpose Flour

  • 1 TSP Baking Soda

  • 1 TSP Sea Salt

  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup Sugar

  • 4 1/2 TBSP Vegan Egg

  • 2 TSP Vanilla

  • Plant based Chocolate Chips

  • Plant based Marshmallows

  • Plant Based Graham Crackers


In a small pot heat butter over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue simmering and stirring until the butter browns and gives off a nutty aroma. Pour into a large bowl and allow to cool.

While butter is cooling combine flour, soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.

To the slightly cooled butter add all sugars. Mix until well combined. Add vanilla and egg. Mix until a smooth consistency is reached, similar to a loose caramel.

Mix in the dry ingredients in two parts.

Fold in s'mores toppings and divide into desired size. Chill in the fridge for 30-45 minutes or the freezer for 15-20 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-14 minutes, or just until the edges are brown. Be sure to turn the cookies midway through.
