Black Bean Burger

Homemade Black Bean Burgers are incredibly inexpensive and surprisingly delicious! This Black Bean Burger recipe is savory and fulfilling; even my non vegan guests loved it. It's well seasoned, and, I also managed to sneak in a few fresh veggies in the mix.

Also, it's super easy!

What You Need:

Makes 4 Burgers

1 Can Black Bean Burgers, Drained

1/4 Cup Mushrooms, Chopped

1/2 Bell Pepper, Diced

1/2 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs

1 1/2 TBSP Cornstarch

Sea Salt & Black Pepper to Taste

1-2 TSP Onion Powder

1-2 TSP Italian Seasoning

1-2 TSP Tony's Seasoning (Optional)

1 TSP Paprika

Let's Do This:

Place Black Beans in a large bowl and mash with a fork or potato masher. Fold in Mushrooms and Bell Pepper. Add in seasonings and Starch. Stir until well combined. Fold in Panko.

Cover and refrigerate 15 minutes. Form Burgers. Place them in fridge 15-20 additional minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Heat a bit of oil in a skillet and fry each side of the Burgers until brown. Remove from skillet, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 15 minutes.

Assemble and enjoy.
