Vegan Pizza Puffs

These Little Cesars Crazy Puffs have taken the internet by storm, becoming a sensation across various social media platforms. From TikTok to Instagram, these delectable treats have captured the attention of food enthusiasts everywhere. It seems like everywhere you look online, someone is either trying out the Crazy Puffs or putting their own unique spin on the recipe. Despite their popularity, some of us were left disappointed by the absence of a vegan option. This led me to recreate them with a plant based twist on my own! These DIY vegan Crazy Puffs have offer a cruelty-free alternative for those with dietary restrictions such as myself.

Let's get into it!


What you need:

Plant based prepared pizza crust, I used the one from Trader Joes

Plant based marinara sauce

1 Package Plant based pepperoni

1/2 Bag Plant based mozzarella cheese shreds, I used this one

1 Stick Plant based butter, I prefer this brand

A few tsp minced garlic

A few tsp fresh parsley or Italian seasoning

Salt and Pepper to Taste


Let's do this

Preheat your oven to 350.

Melt your stick of butter over medium high heat. Add your garlic and simmer until fragrant. Crumble a TBSP of the vegan cheese shreds and add it to the butter. Add in the parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combines and turn it down to low heat.

Roll out your prepared crust and using either a knife, the top of a mason jar, or biscuit cutter to cut out 8-10 circles.

Take a muffin pan and coat the bottom with your garlic parm butter, Add in the cut out pizza crust, Spoon in marinara sauce in the bottom of the dough cups. Begin to layer cheese, pepperoni, and marinara in each cup. Top with a generous amount of cheese and bake until the crust is brown and the cheese is melted.

Brush the top with additional garlic butter and enjoy!
