Veggie Pizza

Pizza is bae. Veggie Pizza gets a bad rap sometimes, but, veggie bae is just as loyal.

Veggie bae is warm, fresh, and fulfilling.

Slice up something easy and delicious that you won't regret when you step on that scale in the morning.

Pizza pizza pizza. Let's get baking.

What you need:

Gluten Free Pizza Crust | Tri Colored Peppers | 2 Cloves Garlic | 1-2 Cups of Fresh Spinach | Favorite Can or Jar Organic Tomato Sauce | Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, to taste | Parsley or Basil for topping (Optional) | TBSP Olive Oil plus more for Brushing

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Prep and dice your veggies.

Like so.

Heat your tomato sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Feel free to heat and use as is (I personally throw in a dash of a few spices to make it my own). Stir continually to avoid burning and splatter.

While the sauce is going, heat olive oil in a pan with a dash of crushed red pepper flakes. Once heated add in garlic and saute until fragrant. Next, add in your peppers. Once your peppers are soft, toss in your spinach and saute until slightly wilted.

While your spinach is cooking down, brush the bottom and edges of your crust with a bit of olive oil. Place the oiled side down on a cooking sheet. Spread your tomato sauce evenly on top. I like to pour a generous amount in the center and use the bottom of a spoon to smooth it out to the edges.

Use tongs to distribute your veggies evenly. Bake in the oven 10-15 minutes.

Slice and Enjoy!
